The idea for V1 Energy arose after a full year of blogging and news gathering for V1 Magazine, a site centered on the application of geospatial technologies for the stewardship of our planet. The growing need for a new global energy approach became apparent, for economic, ecological and environmental reasons. This site will be devoted to news about both renewable and traditional energy sources with an emphasis on sustainable and responsible approaches.
